Saved favorites and the last play screen: continuity on the same device

The actual Tiny House activity in gugiboard, an example of a board and sheet that can be resumed

A closed tab or a frozen window can interrupt a pleasant moment. gugiboard saves local choices and the last supported play location when browser storage is available, so reopening can return to the same board, Baby Game and sheet. Together with Little favorites, this makes the experience easier to resume. It is continuity on the same device, not a promise of a permanent cloud profile.

Hidden choices are separate from counts

The device saves which registered board targets are hidden, while the tap history remains a different record. Restoring an object therefore changes visibility without erasing its earlier touches. This separation is useful when you reopen after making a temporary change: the board can keep the chosen presentation while the report still contains the earlier accumulated interactions.

Recovery returns to a location

The last saved play location identifies the board or Baby Game and its sheet. Recovery is not a recording of every movement, animation or partially finished rescue. A new round may begin in that location. Understanding the difference avoids expecting a freeze to preserve an exact frame or every object position from the moment the window stopped responding.

Home remains a reliable way out

Returning to the previous location should not trap a family there. Home stays available for choosing something else or starting again. If you prefer a different theme, use the normal controls rather than trying to clear all saved preferences. Recovery is meant to remove an unnecessary search, not to lock navigation or insist that a previous activity be completed.

A cached report is not unlimited offline play

When a connection is unavailable, Little favorites can display the last saved successful report and identifies it as saved data. It may not include the most recent changes from elsewhere, and this does not guarantee that every page, picture or recording is available offline. Use the saved view as a fallback, not as proof that the whole app is always disconnected-ready.

Know when saved settings may disappear

Clearing browser data, using restricted private browsing or changing devices can remove local preferences and recovery information. Watch for a saving notice if the browser cannot store a change. Several children sharing a device also share its counts. Use these conveniences with realistic expectations, keeping personal observations and short shared sessions more important than a perfectly uninterrupted digital record.
