For parents and caregivers

Our approach
gugiboard is an educational play tool for babies and toddlers. The play experience does not require an account or ask for names, email addresses, birth dates, photos or precise location. It does not record your camera or microphone. We do not claim that no information is processed: the app uses limited device-linked play information and technical services described below.
Information stored on your device
Your browser stores your chosen voice, hidden play targets and a randomly generated device key for Little favorites. Offline installation may also save app files, illustrations and recordings in your browser’s cache. This information allows preferences and previously loaded content to work between visits.
Little favorites and play counts
When a busy-board target is tapped, the app sends its board identifier, target identifier and a device key to the backend to update play counts. The database stores a hash of that key rather than the original key. These records are device-linked, not a profile containing a child’s name. They are used to show the most-tapped targets. Hiding a target does not erase its recorded count.
Hosting, recordings and technical information
The app uses Lovable Cloud for hosting and stored play counts, and delivery services for illustrations and prepared audio. It loads fonts from Google Fonts. Requests to these services can include technical information such as IP address, browser details and requested file URLs. Error diagnostics and aggregate traffic measurement may also be handled by the hosting platform. This policy does not promise that provider-side logging or measurement is absent.
Audio and AI
Spoken words use saved recordings. Playing an activity does not send speech-generation requests to an AI service. Touch sound effects are generated locally or played from recordings; the app does not listen to or upload conversations.
Storage, retention and your choices
Device preferences remain until you clear this site’s browser data. Clear site data and cached files in your browser settings to remove local preferences, the device key and offline files. This does not automatically delete play-count records already stored in the backend; losing the device key also removes your device’s access to its previous report. No automatic deletion schedule for backend play counts is currently configured.
Children and caregivers
Adults should supervise play and avoid entering personal information about a child. This page describes the current play experience, not a certification of compliance with every jurisdiction’s children’s privacy rules.
Policy updates
We will update this page when the app’s handling of information changes. The date above identifies the current version.
