Gugihands games: pop balloons, Simon says, feed the mouth and drive

Gugihands logo, learning with gestures and voice

Gugihands games turn movement into play. Before each one, Gugi explains what to do with the hands or voice, and when a game is won the next one begins on its own.

Pop the balloons

Balloons float up and the child moves a pointing finger onto them to pop confetti, sparkles and happy faces. Five levels add speed, soap bubbles and falling fruit that splits in half.

A yellow dot on screen shows where the finger is, so children see the link between hand and picture.

Find the color and count the fingers

Find the color asks the child to choose a named color. Count the fingers asks them to show a number with their hands, from one to ten.

Large numbers and dots make counting visible, and Gugi praises every correct answer.

Simon says

Gugi asks for different gestures: thumbs up, love sign, a raised hand and, at the highest level, opening the mouth, smiling or tilting the head.

Requests never repeat twice in a row and never ask for hands together, so the game is not interrupted.

Open your mouth and Drive the car

In Open your mouth, real fruit photos fall toward a big face and drop in when the child opens their mouth. In Drive the car, both hands hold an imaginary steering wheel to avoid people, animals and bikes.

Drive the car has four levels, from slow and easy to faster with two obstacles at once.

Levels and celebrations

Every game has several levels that grow gently in difficulty. Stars and celebrations mark progress, and after the last game Gugi celebrates and returns to the menu.

Children can leave at any moment with hands together or by saying “home”.
