Gugihands lessons: alphabet, animals, colors and numbers with Gugi

Gugihands logo, learning with gestures and voice

The Gugihands lessons are full picture cards that follow one another automatically. Each card shows a large image, the word and a fun fact read aloud by Gugi, plus a small action for the child.

Today, learn or play?

When Gugihands opens, Gugi asks whether the child wants to learn or play. Choosing Learn opens the lessons menu; if nobody chooses within 20 seconds, the alphabet begins.

From there, every lesson pack flows into the next, so learning never stops halfway.

Alphabet and words

The alphabet shows each of the 26 letters beside a picture, such as “B is for ball”. Animals, colors and fruits follow with large images and words in the selected language.

Fun facts give caregivers something to talk about after the screen is off.

Numbers and shapes

Number cards show dots to count and ask the child to show the same number of fingers. Shape cards present circles, squares, triangles and more.

Seeing, counting and showing with the hands connects the idea of quantity to the body.

Body, emotions and opposites

My body names each body part in large letters. Emotions invite the child to smile or show a feeling, and opposites compare pairs like big and small.

Actions such as opening the mouth or raising a hand keep the child physically involved.

Controlled with gestures and voice

On every card, pointing left or right highlights Back, Menu or Next, and a thumbs up activates it. Saying the word or doing the action earns praise and continues.

Use the lessons as a short shared moment and repeat the words together in daily life.
