Hide everything already tapped: a fresh set of choices, with one reversible action

Sometimes a familiar board needs a small change, not a completely different activity. In gugiboard, “Hide everything already tapped” offers an adult a quick way to leave other board choices available. It is the first action in Little favorites. The important advantage is that changing the visible selection does not require deleting the family’s device-linked tap history.
What the first action actually does
The button selects board targets with recorded taps across the categories covered by the report. A confirmation gives you a chance to review the change before applying it. It does not remove everything the child has looked at: the app cannot know that. “Already tapped” refers to registered touches, which is a narrower and more useful description.
A practical way to make room
Imagine that a child keeps returning to a few familiar colors. Temporarily hiding touched targets can make different visible colors easier to notice. This is a way to arrange choices, not a requirement to avoid repetition. Try it only if a change feels welcome, and remember that a smaller action in one category may suit the moment better.
The history stays available
Hidden objects remain part of the accumulated tap counts. The report can therefore show both earlier activity and the current number of hidden items. You are not starting a new learning record or resetting a child’s progress. The feature simply changes availability while preserving the interaction history that the device has already collected.
Make the decision reversible
“Show everything again” restores the hidden board targets. “Undo” reverses the latest hide or restore change. These controls are useful when a larger change feels surprising or removes a comforting object. You can bring choices back without asking the child to earn them, and without treating a restored favorite as a step backward.
Avoid turning variety into pressure
More variety is an option, not automatically a better session. Familiar actions can be enjoyable, and the child may prefer them today. Explain a change kindly and stay nearby. Use gugiboard as a short shared play companion, then follow an interest with a real object or book. There is no need to hide everything after every visit.
