Red, blue, yellow: learning colors step by step

Colors are everywhere, which makes them perfect for early learning. On gugiboard, choosing a color does two things: it says the name and opens a canvas to draw.
Hear it, then use it
A tap on red says “red”. Then your child can draw red lines with a finger. Using the color right away makes the word stick.
Start with a few
Begin with two or three colors. Once those feel familiar, add more. Matching games in Baby Games reinforce the same colors.
Color hunts
Look for something red in the room, then something blue. Older children can sort toys by color or name mixed colors like orange and purple.
Colors in two languages
Red and rojo, blue and azul. Switch the language and enjoy hearing both names for the same color.
Creativity first
There is no wrong drawing. Scribbles are art at this age. Admire the colors and ask your child to tell you about the picture.
