Toddler learning games that respect your child — and you

A free, bilingual guide to how gugiboard turns screen taps into first words, colors, numbers and gentle discoveries for children from 0 to 7.

01

Why toddler learning games matter

Between their first and seventh birthdays, children build vocabulary, recognize colors and shapes, and learn to connect sounds with meanings. Well-designed toddler learning games support that journey when an adult shares the moment: tapping a red apple while saying “red”, hearing the word in two languages, and celebrating each small discovery together.

gugiboard was built for exactly that kind of shared play. Every board responds to a simple tap or drag, names what was touched out loud, and never interrupts the moment with ads, pop-ups or sign-up forms.

02

What your child can learn

Eighteen busy boards cover the early-learning essentials: colors your child can draw with a finger, shapes to drag into place, numbers with real objects to count, the alphabet (including the Spanish Ñ), animal and instrument sounds recorded from real sources, body parts, emotions, fruits and food, and vehicles from tricycles to skateboards.

Ten Baby Games add gentle goals: feeding animals, watering a flower until it blooms and bears fruit, popping bubbles, and kind rescue stories where a fire truck saves families and a little bird hatches in its nest.

03

Bilingual from the first tap

Every word in gugiboard exists in English and Spanish. The language control switches labels and spoken words instantly, so a family can play in one language, the other, or both. Four friendly voices — Luna, Mia, Leo and Nico — use prepared recordings, never live AI generation, so pronunciation stays consistent and the app works without sending your child’s voice anywhere.

For bilingual families, or families who want their toddler to hear a second language early, this means real exposure: the same game, the same joy, two languages.

04

Smart play that follows your child

gugiboard notices when your child has tapped everything on a screen and gently moves on to the next board or game, so discovery never stalls. If nothing happens for 10 seconds, a skateboarding chameleon rolls by; after 30 seconds, a chameleon in a helicopter flies around to invite your little one back.

Little favorites counts which targets your child taps most. With one tap you can hide the most-tapped target, so your child stops replaying only what they already love and is encouraged to explore new possibilities.

05

How to play together

Sit together and keep sessions short. Name what you see, repeat the words the voices say, and let your child lead the tapping. Balance screen play with hands-on play, conversation and movement — toddler learning games work best as one ingredient in a playful day, not the whole recipe.

gugiboard is not a developmental assessment and does not replace professional advice. Every child grows at their own pace.

06

Free, private and calm

gugiboard is free and needs no account. The play experience never asks for a child’s name, email, photos or location, and never records the microphone or camera. Soft looping music in five categories — Circus, Baby, Baby Relax, Baby Adventure and Happy — can be turned off independently of the voices.
